Liver cake is a sure fired dog friendly cake that's a staple in every occasion in the lives of the Kardogshians. Everyone loves it, and the Kardogshians just can't get enough of it. We've made these a lot of times that we were able to master and develop the recipe further.

This recipe is very dog friendly as it uses whole wheat flour which is unprocessed and has no chemicals. It's pack with nutrition such as vitamin A, iron, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, folates, vitamin B12, vitamin C, and protein, which are all benificial to dogs.

We'll leave you all in the capable hands of our resident diva to teach you this recipe. Also she'll be providing alternatives incase your furbaby has certain allergies.

For the Liver Cake:

You'll need:

  • 1 kilo Chicken/Beef liver (whichever your dog prefers best)
  • 2 and a half cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • a pinch of Salt
  • 2 medium Sized Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Water

Note: Baking this cake requires no precision of measurements as far as flour and water is concerned, you just have to get the right texture of batter. here are instances where you'll need to add more flour or Milk depending on the freshness of your raw liver, but usually this is the measurement that we use.

For the Doggy Cream Cheese Frosting:

You'll need:
  • 1 bar Unsweetened Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 tablespoon of All Natural Honey
  • Food Coloring is Optional
If your fubaby is lactose intolerant use a Banana Icing (Recipe in the Notes section)

Note: All of the ingredients mentioned are available at your local grocery stores.

1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees (Pre-heating is important in baking, so make sure not to skip this step.)

2. Using a food processor, grind the liver till liquified (like a paste or a smoothie.) If a food processor isn't available to you, you can use a blender.

3. Once your raw liver is liquified, you can add all the ingredients. Mix them in a large bowl using a large spoon (refrain from using hand mixers, the liquified liver is too thick it'll wear out your hand mixer's machine, but you can if you have money to spare for a new one .)

4. Keep mixing, till all the ingredients are infused together. Your batter should have a "peanut butter consistency."

Note: Add more water if your batter is too thick, and add more flour if your batter is too thin.

5.  Grease up your baking pans, and pour the batter into the pan. It's ok to fill it up to the brim as the cake does not rise.

Note: The measurements given were able to fill two pans of 9inc diameter x 2inch height. Also it's best to use a cake pan with removable sides or bottom.

6. Put it in the oven, and let it bake for about 45mins-90minutes depending on how thick your cake pan is. Liver Cake is dense it'll need more time to cook, the thinner the cake pan the easier it'll cook

Note: to check if your cake is done just pierce through it with a toothpick, if the toothpick comes out clean, then your cake is done.

7. Once it's done, take your cake out of the oven and the pan and let it cool.

8. To make the frosting, just mix together the cream cheese and honey. Keep mixing until you have a "peanut butter consistency." Add food coloring as you please, we're going to maintain the white color of the cream cheese. Refrigerate afterwards.

9. Once everything has cooled down, you can start adding the frosting to the cake and decorate it.

And you're done

  • If your furbaby is lactose intolerant use Banana Icing instead of cream cheese icing

Banana Icing Recipe

Ingredients
- 5 pcs Banana
- 1/2 tblspn Honey
- Food Coloring (optional)

Instructions
-Freeze the bananas overnight in the freezer. Mash it down by hand using as fork or use a food processor/blender to expedite the process, add honey and food coloring of your choice. and your done

Note
-The Banana icing looks a bit translucent it is not as pretty as a cream cheese frosting.

  • We have not in our lifetime of making these seen a dog shy away from it. Although some dogs don't particularly love the icing.
  • Even our fostered kittens love it.

  • You may also make pupcakes (doggy cupcake) out of these, just use rice paper linings instead of the regular cupcake linings as it's extremely hard to remove once it sticks.

Welcome to a mini tour around our resident diva's closet! Not only are we going to show the huge closet but we are also going to tell you where we got most of if using a ranking system.

Khaleesi, as of date, has over 400 pieces of accessories (which includes clothes, collars, jewelries, shoes, socks, etc.) The current guinness book world recorder holder has over 1,000 pieces of accessories, which means we are about 40% to breaking the record.

Her massive collection has caught the eye of the media which featured her in one of our local TV show, Brigada, here in the Philippines. Let's get on with the tour to see what all the fuss is about.

Like any other collectors we started out with a small collection, from 10pcs which was bought from Daiso, and Hardware Stores, slowly grew as we're introduced to the world of IG online shopping.

Then our human learned how to sew, using sets of patterns downloaded online, About a year or so, right after Khaleesi's first birthday, Her closet turned to this.

Khaleesi had a short-lived pet jewelry line which explains the abundance of jewelry, It was short-lived because the price then was a bit to expensive for regular consumers. At this time, she also had a lot of handmade headdresses, tiaras, crowns, and sunglasses added to her collection

Her former walk in closet was in our maid's quarter (because we didn't have one then), but as soon as we hired a helper as the housework became a lot for us to handle, our human was forced to share his small walk in closet with Khaleesi. For the purposes of this tour we took out some of her clothes as it is very unsightly and quite tight in our human's walk-in closet

Take note that this picture does not do her collection justice as most of her holiday/event specific clothes (Christmas Clothes, Cold Weather Outerwear, Halloween Costumes, etc.) are in a box in our storage space and some of her accessories and jewelry were left in our condo unit. Also these are only Khaleesi's clothes, the whole Kardogshian Wardrobe is another story.

She has a lot of couture pieces, mostly pastels and faux furs, made by PoochTotty and our human.

This is her long gown collection, she has one for each birthday, event and holiday.

These are her everyday dresses, most of which are either, peach, pink, red or blue as it complements her black fur better. Those that no longer fits are now

Our human's love for fashion and style contributed a lot for Khaleesi's wardrobe to get this huge. Her human daddy sews almost 50% of her wardrobe, now using patterns he created himself. He takes inspiration from the latest trends and pinterest.

(We will share a pet clothing DIY tutorial soon)

We also have clothing stores, and our friends to thank for some clothing given as gifts
